Business Analyst / Product Owner Marketing Technology (m/f/x)

Our Marketing Technology team provides technical foundations for New Work’s data-driven Marketing activities and products. We are the connecting link between Business and Technology departments and always strive to improve the value for our members and customers within the fields we work on. 

We closely collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the company, such as Product, Marketing and Analytics teams. For these departments we build and maintain in-house services as well as owning external services for our stakeholders. To name a few: We’re technically responsible for marketing automation, tag management, tracking, audience management and targeting. And in addition to pure technical topics, we are also involved in business related initiatives like attribution modelling, and we consult the respective teams from our technical perspective.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst who likes to own and develop our topics and services. You can look forward to:

  • Actively identify and manage current and potential stakeholders from other teams, departments or business units.
  • Take the initiative in managing and driving projects or services in a high traffic environment (e.g. on
  • Observe current trends and new developments in the marketing tech world.
  • Collect and assess new requirements in the light of feasibility within the current setup.
  • Closely collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. Product Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Business Intelligence) to clarify requirements and underlying impact for our users.
  • Create and maintain the long- and short-term roadmap for the team, resulting in backlogs prioritised according to our overall department and company strategy.
  • Manage and maintain documentation of solutions in your respective area.
  • Manage external providers and act as their main contact.

What we are looking for:

  • You have a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Psychology or Computer Science.
  • In addition, you have already gained 3 to 5 years of professional experience in managing digital products, especially in the areas of Analytics and Online Marketing.
  • Experienced in working with agile methods and combining classic with agile approaches.
  • Experienced in defining business processes, uses cases and deriving user stories from discussions with stakeholders.
  • Technical understanding of infrastructure and architecture to be able to discuss technical approaches with our Engineers.
  • Basic experience with Marketing Tools like Braze, CrossEngage or HubSpot.
  • First experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau or Adobe Analytics).
  • You are a team-player, who likes to make decisions and loves to take responsibility even in complex projects or processes.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with fluency in English to represent the team to stakeholders as well as the upper management (proficiency in German is a plus).
