- First point of contact for user account and security measures
- Ensuring account security from crawling to fake account detection and creation prevention
- Improving monitoring and alerting processes
- Collaborating with the security department on incident management
- Hunting flaws in the registration process that might become relevant or account misusage
- Designing measures to protect users against fraud
Your skills:
- Training or degree in IT, software development or similar
- Background in web development is a plus
- Analytical skills, able to communicate clearly and give practical advice
- Stakeholder management skills and ability to balance different interests
- Fluency in English
- Proven application security skills would be a bonus

We are looking for a Security Analyst (m/f/x) as part of the User Account team. The User Account team is located in XINGs Growth cluster. This is the place where we attract new users to sign-up and quickly gain value through XING. In collaboration with our Security department you will assess user account security and work closely with user-facing product development and data scientists. We test and monitor our platforms to balance the high standards of user account security with a pleasant experience during the registration. This is your opportunity to contribute to the account security of a successful web application used heavily by over 20 million members.
