Your tasks:

  • Run, optimise, automate and monitor our wide range of database clusters on-prem
  • Contribute to the technical design and implementation of a central cloud database service
  • You ensure scalability and efficiency of our infrastructure with modern tools and standards
  • Use technologies like MySQL, Galera, Orchestrator, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Docker and AWS
  • Support teams with the integration of database services into our platform and participate in our 24/7 on-call rotation

Your skills:

  • In-depth relational database services skills
  • Solid experience in cloud database services (AWS)
  • Working knowledge of Linux operations, including automation, troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Infrastructure as code mindset and strong automation background
  • Proficient English language skills

About the job

You will be part of an international team of Database Engineers that is responsible for building and maintaining reliable database solutions, on-prem and in cloud. We work closely with Operations team, to ensure stability of the entire platform but also support more than 600 software engineers in their daily lives.
We are now seeking an experienced Database Engineer who loves MySQL, automation and can help with design and development of new services.
