Your tasks:

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership for your team
  • You’ll support the development of the analytics roadmap
  • You’ll head projects, but will also act as a key sparring partner for the team’s analysts
  • You and your team will use analyses as a basis for issuing recommendations and then acting on them
  • You’ll act as a go-between for the analytics team and other departments to ascertain and coordinate the given requirements

Your skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar studies with a quantitative focus
  • Professional background in analytics, reporting and KPI based company steering as well as experience with relevant tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau)
  • Several years of leadership experience and you’re astute, highly analytical, able to connect the dots, and can combine this with conceptual thinking
  • You’re able to analyze complex scenarios and large quantities of data, while also being able to present them to others in a coherent manner
  • Fluent English is required. German language skills would be a benefit

About the job

At New Work SE’s we are striving to become a data-driven company. The Central Analytics team is a headquarter unit within the CFO area that focuses on group steering aspects. That includes to create transparency through insights as well as standard reports for our decision makers. Another task is to analyse interdependencies between our business models and derive recommendations on how businesses can fuel each other.

The team works closely with Controlling as well as the Business Intelligence and Analytics departments. Integrated business data is made available in a central data warehouse which enables full self-service. Together with the Business Intelligence department the Group Analytics team is responsible to develop a central data model to safeguard and document definitions of group steering KPIs.
