Timm Richter to join XING AG Executive Board as Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Hamburg, September 6, 2012 –

Timm Richter is to join the XING AG Executive Board as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Timm, 42, is currently CEO at TravelTainment GmbH and will take up his duties in the newly created position on the XING Executive Board as soon as possible, but by March 1, 2013, at the latest.
 
Prior to this post, Timm, who studied mathematics, was a consultant and project manager at McKinsey before moving to Tchibo where he held a number of positions before becoming head of the innovation and services department. In 2008 Timm moved to the tourism industry, initially as Managing Director at Berge & Meer Touristik GmbH. At the start of 2011 he became CEO of TravelTainment GmbH, the market leader of software solutions for travel agencies and online providers. With its dynamic packaging, advisory and booking software for travel agencies and online booking engines, TravelTainment is the first port of call for leading providers in the tourism industry.
