Hamburg, 13 October 2014 – XING, the leading online business network in German-speaking countries, has released ProJobs, an add-on that provides XING members with more visibility among headhunters. ProJobs profiles are highlighted to make it easier for well over 3,000 top recruiters on XING to find them, including both recruiters at well-known companies and headhunters that use the XING Talent Manager to look for and get in touch with potential candidates. This allows recruiters to find jobseekers faster, who then have a better chance of receiving interesting job offers. The enhanced profile and additional self-portrayal options not only give ProJobs users a way to boost their image among employers, they also allow users to specify who they want to know that they are looking for a job and who is able to see these additional details in order to ensure discretion. After the introductory phase, members who take advantage of ProJobs will have exclusive access to headhunters with jobs offering annual salaries of €50,000 or more. This new product will be rolled out today as a Premium add-on or offered to basic members together with Premium upgrades.

Maximum visibility among more than 3,000 top recruiters

With ProJobs, members can communicate their needs and demands to new employers to ensure that they receive job offers matching these requirements. As well as field, industry and position, ProJobs users can enter the names of preferred employers, salary expectations, preferred locations and working hours. On top of that, they can upload documents such as references.
In order to add even more information to their profile, ProJobs users now have a number of new ways to describe their professional experience in detail with specific fields, tasks and projects now complemented by information such as previous personnel, budget or sales responsibility. ProJobs user profiles will be highlighted in top recruiter search results and also include the additional details.

Discreet job search with full control over personal details

Discretion is key when looking for a new job while currently in employment, which is why ProJobs gives users the option to choose which XING members can see their additional job search details. That way they can make sure that only their direct contacts or top recruiters can see their ProJobs details, or exclude individual XING members from having access to them.
ProJobs users can also state how they would like recruiters to contact them and when would be a convenient time for them to do. That way, initial contact can take place outside of working hours rather than having to deal with a somewhat tricky phone call while at work.

Professional CV check and exclusive job offers from headhunters to be rolled out by the end of the year

ProJobs will appear on the platform during the course of the day as a Premium membership add-on or in conjunction with a Premium membership for current basic members. The add-on includes all of the Premium features with prices starting at €24.95 a month depending on the selected term.

Two useful ProJobs features will also be rolled out in the near future. Firstly, users will have exclusive access to ProJobs vacancies posted by headhunters that offer annual salaries of at least €50,000. Secondly, thanks to their partnership with XING, ProJobs users can visit the CV Coach website (
