XING passes 10 million member mark in German-speaking countries

Hamburg, 29 March 2016 – XING, the leading online business network in German-speaking countries, has passed the 10 million member mark. This figure underlines XING’s leadership on the German-speaking market. The company has continually grown its member base since it was founded in 2003, and the previous financial year just reported the company’s largest-ever member growth figures. “We passed the 10 million member mark in March, so mathematically speaking, about every fifth worker in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is now a XING member. If you were to line up all of our members next to one another, the human chain would cover the entire perimeter of Germany, Austria and Switzerland”, said Thomas Vollmoeller, CEO at XING AG. “We’re growing faster than ever before.
